On 20 July 2026, the first day of the monsoon session, the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) led a 'Sansad Chalo' march from Jantar Mantar toward Parliament demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and reforms over the 2026 NEET paper leak and CBSE marking irregularities. Delhi Police had denied permission, imposed Section 163 BNSS across New Delhi district banning gatherings of four or more, closed metro stations, and readied water cannons.
